On 25 July the Australian Outback Marathon is held at Uluru (Ayers Rock) and the Swissalpine Marathon (including the 78km ultra) in the Alpine ski resort of Davos.

On 26 July the 39th National MILO Marathon takes place in the Phillippines, the Westlink M7 Blacktown Running Festival in Australia.

The Tijuana International Marathon is run in Mexico.

Two races take place in South America: the Rio de Janeiro City Marathon in Brazil, the Media Maraton Internacional de Bogota in the Colombian capital.
