AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . . the 100km del Sahara – the odafone Istanbul Half -the Almaty Marathon Marathon – the Rhodes Marathon and the Metro Group Marathon Düsseldorf in Germany.

On 25 April the Fjordkraft Bergen City Marathon was run in Norway.

Also on 25 April runners arrived at the location of the 100km del Sahara in Tunisia, but the race's first stage only begins on 27 April, with runners completing four stages in four days.

On April 26 Vodafone Istanbul Half Marathon is run in Turkey and the Almaty Marathon takes place in Kazakhstan.

Europe hosts 7 AIMS races beginning with the Roads to Rhodes Marathon in Greece, followed by the Metro Group Marathon Düsseldorf and the Haspa Marathon Hamburg in Germany, the ORLEN Warsaw Marathon, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Madrid Marathon and Half, the DVV Antwerp Marathon, and the Semi-Marathon International de Nice.

In the Americas the CAF Caracas Maratón is run in Venezuela and the Maratón de Montevideo takes place in Uruguay and the Big Sur Int'l Marathon in the USA.
