AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . . On 8 November the AIMS Best Marathon Runner Gala is held in Athens

On 8 November the AIMS Best Marathon Runner Gala is held in Athens, at which the man and woman voted Best Marathon Runner for the year (01.10.2012-30.09.2013) will be announced and awarded.

A lifetime achievement award will be presented to Ingrid Kristiansen and further awards will be made to the AIMS member event employing best environmental practice and to that most effectively addressing social issues.

The following day, also in Athens, the 7th AIMS Marathon Symposium will be conducted.

On 10 November the BDL Beirut Marathon takes place in Lebanon and the Athens Classic Marathon over the original course from Marathon to Athens in Greece.

The Maratona Int'le Ravenna Citta del Arte and the Garda Trentino Half Marathon are run in Italy and the French Riviera Marathon Nice-Cannes in the south of France.
