AIMS Races – this weekend – Coming up . . . Airtel Delhi Half Marathon – the Berlin Marathon – the Singelloop Utrecht 10km – the BIL Route du Vin Half Marathon – the Half Marathon RTP Rock ’n‘ Roll Portugal.

Autumn racing really gets into is stride on 30 September with a full programme starting with the ultra-competitive Airtel Delhi Half Marathon in the Indian Capital.

At the full distance the Berlin Marathon field includes the fastest man ever over the distance, Geoffrey Mutai. Running even faster, but not so far will be elite performers in the Singelloop Utrecht 10km in Holland, the BIL Route du Vin Half Marathon in Luxemburg and the Vodafone Half Marathon RTP Rock 'n' Roll Portugal.

In UK the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon is run in the north of Scotland and the Bristol Half Marathon in the west of the country.

Across the Atlantic the 10km San Jose takes place in Costa Rica and the Lake Tahoe Marathon – the closing event in a three-day running festival – in California.
