AIMS races – Coming up . . . this weekend – the Yokohama Women’s Marathon – the Kobe Marathon – the Vodafone Istanbul Marathon – the Penang Bridge Marathon and the Standard Chartered Bangkok Marathon

On 17 November the Yokohama Women's Marathon and the Kobe Marathon take place in Japan, the Penang Bridge International Marathon in Malaysia and the Standard Chartered Bangkok Marathon in Thailand.

Starting in Asia and finishing in Europe, the Vodafone Istanbul Marathon celebrates its 35th edition. The Turin Marathon is run in Italy and the Maraton Divina Pastora Valencia in Spain.

The Marabana Marathon and Half Marathon are held in Cuba and the Gore-Tex Philadelphia Marathon, the Zappos.com Rock'n'Roll Las Vegas Marathon and the Big Sur Half Marathon on Monterey Bay all in the United States.

On 20 November the 9th Antarctic Ice Marathon will take place at 80 Degrees South, just a few hundred kilometres from the South Pole at the foot of the Ellsworth Mountains.
