47. BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2021 sends signal for cosmopolitanism, tolerance and acceptance: start gate shines in the colours of the rainbow for first time tonight
After months of deprivation and social distancing, SCC EVENTS sets a decisive milestone with the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON.
At the world’s largest marathon since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, people are beginning to find a new sense of trust through sport and are being to feel safer again.
Our basic values of openness to the world, tolerance and acceptance, which we have championed for many years, can finally be lived again. On the way back to normality, society needs precisely these emotions.
Together with all of the participants and partners at the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON this weekend, we will be sending a visible signal to the world:
Our start gate will shine in the colours of the rainbow, as it did for the first time on Friday evening, emphasizing that the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON stands for cosmopolitanism, tolerance and acceptance.
