The Berlin Easter Bunny Run on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025 - Poster: Organizer
23rd Berlin Easter Bunny Run – the cult run on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025 – 10:00 a.m. – the Berlin running tradition at EASTER in Grunewald
Berlin cannot compete with the 77-year tradition of the Paderborn Easter Run in 2025, but 23 editions of the Easter Bunny Run in Berlin with several hundred participants have already established a tradition
Bernd Hübner founded this race, and the legendary Easter Bunny Wolfgang Paech and his family will continue this unique Berlin CULT RUN through the Grunewald with a family run of approx. 10 km (total distance there and back) – without timing or pre-registration – as a special attraction.
There is no timing, which is also the big difference to the old and venerable Paderborn Easter Run – BERLIN is a fun run through the blossoming countryside. There have been runs here before when the Easter Bunny Run had to be moved from the Grunewald because the course was icy.
Bernd Hübner will be accompanying the run on his bike for health reasons. Wolfgang Paech is traditionally the costumed Easter Bunny.
On Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., 100–200 participants are expected to meet at the Mommsenstadion (Waldschulallee 34, 14055 Berlin-Charlottenburg) and then run/jog together through the Grunewald forest to the forest house in the “Saubucht.”
No prior registration is required, just “sharp eyes for finding Easter eggs” and, of course, a good mood, as is customary for fun runs! Ideal for new runners and Easter visitors who want to enjoy Easter Monday and Berlin’s Grunewald forest at a leisurely pace!
The run will take place regardless of the weather!
The Saubucht forest lodge will once again be offering Easter surprises with delicious tea, cake, and, of course, Easter eggs.
Everyone can/should bring something to snack on! There will also be a donation box!
For the Easter runners, the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district office has opened the Mommsenstadion in Waldschulallee especially for changing, showering, and using the restrooms from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
However, an after-party at the Mommsenstadion after the run (as has been customary in previous years) will not be possible. The stadium is open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Wolfgang Paech at 0172–322 78 43.
