FLASH: Usain Bolt holt zweiten Titel – Allyson Felix (USA) siegt über 400 Meter

FLASH: 200 Meter: Usain Bolt siegt in 19,55 vor Justin Gatlin 19,74, den Bronzerang sichern sich der Südafrikaner Anaso Jobodwana (19,87 sec) zeitgleich vor Alsono Edward (Panama).

Dreisprung Männer:  Christian Taylor (USA) siegt mit 18,21 Metern vor Pedro Pablo Pichardo (Kuba).

400 m Frauen: Allyson Felix (USA) mit 49,26 sec vor Shaunae Miller – Bahamas; 49,67 sec vor Shericka Jackson Jamaika; 49,99 sec. 

Hammerwerfen Frauen:  Anita Wlodarczyk (Polen) siegt mit 80,85 Metern vor  Wenxiu Zhang (China) mit 76,33 metern  vor Alexandra Tavernier (Frankreich) mit  74,02 Metern.

WLJ qualifying
6.65 by Volha Sudarava is the longest WLJ that failed to qualify for the final of World Championships; 
previously 6.62 by Radke and Kotova was the longest WLJ that failed to qualify

Best semi time was improved twice. 
Before the this year, fastest semi in WC was 13.11 by Pierce in 1993 & Richardson in 2011
This time was improved twice, first by Shubenkov to 13.09 and then by Merritt to 13.08 
However, it is not the fastest non-final, for Oliver ran 13.05 in the first round earlier in this championships
13.29 by Aleec Harris is the fastest non-qualifier for the final at 110mH in World Championships; previously 13.35 by Coghlan (1999) and Noga (2013)is the fastest that failed to qualify for the final. 
W200m semi 
22.12 ties the fastest semi of W200m in WC; 
Asher-Smith is tied with the time recorded by great Marlene Ottey in 1993 
WHT
Championships record was improved twice by Wlodarzcyk from 78.80 by Lysenko from 2013 
to 80.27 and then to 80.85m.  
80.85 is longest throw in Asia, CHN and Beijing
4.52m is the largest winning margin in WHT at World Championships; previous max was 2.64m from 1999
Among the best marks for place in the World Championships WHT, only first place was improved to 80.85
Wlodarczyck become two-time gold medalist and three time medalist at WHT; she is still one behind Moreno on both account.
Zhang Wenxiu won CHN's best medal (silver) in WHT in WC; previously she won bronze thrice (three-times) and that was CHN's best medal at WHT in WC 
POL became the first nation to win both men's and women's HT in WC as Fajdek and Wlodarczyk won the eve if nts
W400m 
The winning time of 49.26 is the fastest time on CHN soil as well as fastest in Beijing
Ohuruogu ran the fastest 8th place time at the World Championships W400m
Shaunae Miller became first World Youth Champion to win World Championships medal at W400m; 
she also became 4th long sprinter to win medals in both WC (silver) & WJr (gold)
TJ 
The winning margin of 48cm in TJ is second largest in WC behind 1995 WC
69cm between 1st and 3rd in TJ is also second largest in WC behind 1995's 70cm
Evora won third medal to go with gold in 2007 and silver in 2009; 
with his bronze tonight, Evora now has a complete set of medals
Conley and Edwards also have complete set of medals at TJ in WC 
Taylor now has second gold (first in 2011) and now matches Edwards with number of gold in WC TJ Nobody else has more than one gold 
Pichardo now has two silver in TJ at WC, distinction shared by Voloshin and Betanzos
Of course, 1821 is the longest jump in Asia, CHN and Beijing
Previously, Pichardo had 18.06 in Doha and Evora jumped 17.67 in Beijing OG
200m
19.55 is third fastest time while 19.74 is second fastest non-Bolt time in the World Championships
Gatlin ran second fastest losing time at WC 200m, behind 19.70 by Walter Dix 
Bolt won record fifth medal at 200m in WC, while Gatlin won medals 10 years apart in 200m at WC, also a record of longest span between medals at this event. 
Last time Bolt got under 19.6 was Aug in 2012 in Lausanne
Jobodwana won first medal of any color for RSA at 200m in WC
The difference between 3rd and 4th was 0.00, which tied the minimum that was recorded in 1991  
200m best marks for place in WC were set for 4th, 6th and 8th.  Best marks for place for all competition were set for 4th
