Das POLISH RUNNING FESTIVAL vom 4. Juni – 6. Juni 2010 – eine Laufpremiere im Nachbarland Polen – Fun-run, Marathon 100 km Lauf

Das Economic Forum in Krynica in Polen ist zwar nicht ganz so berühmt wie der der "Davoser Wirtschaftgipfel in Davos", aber es wurde im Vorjahr schon zzum 19. Mal veranstaltet und wird nicht unrecht als das "Davos des Ostens" bezeichnet. Wirtschaftsfachleute, Politiker und Wissenschaftler aus aller Welt haben das "Economic Forum" in Krynica zu einer wichtigen Begegnungstätte und zu einem erfolgreichen Forum des Austauschs zwischen Ost und West entwickelt.

In diesem Jahr möchten die Veranstalter des Economic Forum auch den Laufsport in ihre Veranstaltungsserie
einbinden. Die Premiere wird es mit dem POLISH RUNNING FESTIVAL vom 4. – 6. Juni 2010 geben.

Das Laufprogramm ist sehr ambitioniert und reicht vom 5 km Fun-Run, einem 10 km Lauf, einer Staffel, einem Marathon und einem 90 km Ultra-Lauf – und das noch einem hügeligen Gelände – aber in einem sehr waldreichem und landschaftlich schönem Gelände.

Angeboten werden auch die Europäischen Parlaments-Meisterschaften im Marathon.

Umrahmt werden die Veranstaltungstage mit einem großen Rahmenprogramm – diese Aktivitäten werden auf der website vorgestellt. Eine deutsche Fassung ist in Vorbereitung.

• Koral Eastern European Marathon – 42,195 km

European Parliamentarians Championship – 42,195 km, start at 9.00 am, finish at 3.00 pm (time limit 6h)

• The following classifications will be made during the Running Festival of the Economic Forum:

Start information

Arrival/Transport
The organizer provides transport for the competitors during the Running Festival on the route Krynica-Zdroj – Nowy Sącz – Muszyna

Accommodation
The organizer does not guarantee accommodation and catering. The list of recommended holiday centres, pensions and hotels will be available soon.

Deposit
As a starter kit, the participants will receive bags with attributed start numbers, which will enable them to store their personal belongings in a specially designated place. The organizer is NOT responsible for any deposited documents, precious items and money. The deposits can be collected only on the basis of start numbers.

Meals
On all the routes of Running Festival, competitors will be able to avail themselves, without any restrictions, of water and refreshment points. At the finish line of the Marathon and Ultramarathon, the runners will receive a regenerative meal.

Pasta Party will be held on the 5th June 2010 (Saturday). Every runner, registered to one of the events of the Running Festival, will have the opportunity to participate free of charge in the Pasta Party with an accompanying person. Other persons who would like to join the Pasta Party, must make a payment in the gross amount of 50 PLN per person (15 EURO) and register themselves in the Festival Office
