AIMS races an diesem Wochenende . . . the Osaka Marathon – the Chosun Ilbo Chunchon Marathon – the Thansur Bokor Half Marathon – the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon.

On 25 October the 2nd Erbil International Marathon is held in the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan.

27 October, a very busy day for AIMS World Running, starts with the Osaka Marathon in Japan, the Chosun Ilbo Chunchon Marathon in Korea and the Thansur Bokor Int'l Half Marathon in Cambodia. Action then moves to East Africa, where the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon is run in the Kenyan capital.

In Europe the Podgorica Marathon is run in the Montenegrin capital, the Ljubljiana Marathon in the Slovenian capital, the Venicemarathon in Italy, the Swiss City Marathon (Lucerne) and the Lausanne Marathon in Switzerland, and the Frankfurt Marathon in Germany's financial capital, where super-fast times are again on the cards.

The Grand Marathon International de Casablanca takes place in Morocco before, jumping the Atlantic, there is action on the streets of Trinidad and Tobago's capital Port-of-Spain, in the UWI-SPEC Half Marathon. On the North American mainland Maraton Aguascalientes takes place in Mexico, and the hugely popular Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC. To close, the Niagara Falls International Marathon starts in Buffalo, New York State and crosses from the US to Canada to finish at Niagara Falls, Ontario.

On Monday 28 October, a national holiday in the Irish Republic, runners compete in the Airtricity Dublin Marathon.
