Latest IAAF Newsletter is now published

Monte-Carlo – The latest IAAF Newsletter – NEWS 89 – December 2007 (06.12.2007) – is now published.
The last edition of the IAAF NEWS in 2007 contains the highlights from the IAAF Council meeting and World Athletics Gala which took place in Monaco at the end of November. There is also news from many IAAF Commissions, as well as from the inaugural AIMS Marathon Symposium.

All the regular items such as Member Federation election news and the latest Doping Sanction list are also included in this edition.

NOTE: French internet and English printed versions are as usual also in production, and will follow later.

NEWS 89 is also the last ever printed edition of the IAAF Newsletter!

The printed version of the IAAF NEWS will cease production from the beginning of 2008. The IAAF Newsletter which was first published on the IAAF website at the beginning of 2000 will continue as a new on-line only publication in both English and French languages.

As is currently the case, the IAAF NEWS can be printed by readers direct from the IAAF website. All editions (in pdf) since IAAF NEWS N.38 (Feb 2000) remain downloadable in the Newsletter section of the IAAF website.

So look out for the all new IAAF Newsletter in 2008.
