Exciting Fan Event with Usain Bolt at Zurich Main Station – Weltklasse Zürich

More than 3,000 fans crowded in the main hall at Zurich Main Station on Thursday morning, hoping to get hold of an autograph signed by the world record star Usain Bolt.

After 10 a.m., the already long lines of autograph hunters grew longer and longer. When at 11.35 a.m., the barrier tapes were finally removed, people rushed towards the stage, with those in front almost reaching their role model's speed. The star arrived 30 minutes later, disembarking from a black Mercedes limousine right in front of the stage. "Quite an amount of people", he commented, visibly impressed by the huge crowd awaiting him, before taking a pen and starting to sign autographs.

The fans brought anything from new shoes, shirts, photos, statues, and even a handmade painting for Usain Bolt to sign. Some people patiently waited for their souvenir, while others gave it a try and competed against a 'Bolt double' on a rail moving at world record speed.

Bolt also helped to provide the soundtrack for the event: He proved his DJ talents using his favourite music to get the fans to danc.
