In nice weather for runners with 16 degrees and cloudy, 8,282 runners finished the 9th Stockholm Halfmarathon.
The organising clubs Hässelby SK and Spårvägens FK congratulate all of you to a race well done!

Isabellah Andersson broke the Swedish record when she won the women´s division in 1:11:35. Daniel Woldu won the men´s division in 1:06:54.

The 10th Stockholm Halfmarathon will be staged on 11 September next year. All information about that race can be found here on the website within a few weeks.

New result service: See how you ran

At this year’s Stockholm Half Marathon, we are introducing Speed on Map – a program which lets you see in graphics how you ran the race and also how others ran.

Speed on Map is a new program which was developed by Martin Käck from Stockholm. He created it using Microsoft Silverlight, a program which is installed and runs in the webbrowser

Once you have installed Silverlight you can start to use Speed on Map.
– The idea is to graphically show the results, Martin says.

There are several different views in Speed on Map:

  • You can put a runner onto the course and watch how he or she ran.
  • If you want you can place several runners at the same time to compare how they ran.
  • A colour code shows the pace – green is good – when the pace drops the colour becomes redder

    Results for 2009 Stockholm Half Marathon will be available on Speed on Map from 18:00 on Sunday evening.

    To use Speed on Map the computer must be able to run Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 which works on the following systems

    Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox,.1-5-3.
    Windows 7 beta with Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox,.1-5-3.
    Windows XP SP2 with Internet Explorer 6 and 7 or Firefox,.1-5-3.
    Windows 2000 SP4 with Internet Explorer 6.
    Mac OS 10.4.8+ (Intel-based) with Firefox,.1-5-3 or Safari.
