PSD Bank Meeting – European Athletics (EAA) – News – World and European medallist Oeser to compete in Düsseldorf

The 6th International PSD Bank Meeting Düsseldorf 2011 PSD Bank indoor meeting in Düsseldorf on 11 February, a European Athletics Indoor Permit meeting, has announced its first big name.

Local star Jennifer Oeser, the 2009 World Championships heptathlon silver medallist who also took a bronze in the same event at the 2010 European Athletics Championships, will compete in the long jump.

The long jump will be Oeser’s main event during the indoor season, rather than combined events, and she has competing at the 2011 European Athletics Indoor Championships as her target, as well as improving on her personal best of 6.68m which she jumped in Barcelona en-route to her place on the podium.
