Athletics Ireland – News – Support your local GOAL Mile this Christmas

  This year, despite the extreme weather conditions in many parts of the country, many Goal Miles will be run over the Christmas Holidays to raise much needed funds for the poorest people in the world.

Deteriorating weather conditions have forced the cancellation of the Goal Mile at Belfield & other locations around the country…. But hope remains that a GOAL Mile will take place at many of the scheduled venues in Dublin and around the country please see list of locations for updates.

In the Capital, venues close to Belfield which hope to stage GOAL Miles include Tallaght. Enthusiasts are asked to check the GOAL website for up to date information.

Miles are held every year during the Christmas holidays in cities, towns and villages in Ireland and abroad. People of all ages sacrifice part of their holiday to run or walk a sponsored Mile in aid of GOAL.
