Come and celebrate the rich history of Melbourne Olympic Park.

The 2011 John Landy Lunch will bring together athletes, officials, coaches and fans alike as to toast the wonderful memories the Park has provided athletics in Victoria for more than 100 years.

Home to some of the sport’s most defining moments, this year’s guest speakers include John Landy and Ron Clarke discussing ‘that mile’ at the 1956 Australian Athletics Championships, Olympic gold medallist Catherine Freeman as she relives her first sub-50 second 400m and current Australian record holders who set their mark at the park Scott Martin, Charlene Rendina, Tim Forsyth and Bronwyn Thompson.

Toast the legends with your mates and colleagues, recognise those moments that have stodd the test of time and join us as we also preview the IAAF Melbourne Track Classic, Victoria’s leg of the Australian Athletics Tour.
