There are thousands of mountain trails in the world. But HSR trail is a primitive and characteristic trail regarded by runners and walkers as it offers an opportunity to experience the culture, heritage of thousands of years, religion, peculiar customs and traditions besides the thrilling adventure enjoyment.

 

Kindly provide us with your complete postal mailing address so that we can send the race entry form by air postal mail. In the meantime, please find below the general information on the race trip. For information, the international air travel has to be arranged by you at your end. The Race Directorate can block the domestic air sectors (Delhi/Bagdogra/Delhi) and purchase the air tickets on your behalf and deliver you on your arrival in India.

Also, besides the main race trip, the Race Directorate can arrange extra services i.e. meeting / assistance on international arrival/departure at Delhi, overnight stay in Delhi, early Race day for acclimatization, pre or post sightseeing or trekking extensions, etc. at extra cost. Once you advise the proposed international travel schedule and extra services required by you during the trip, we will prepare a day-to-day itinerary and cost estimate including the race trip package cost. The payment is to be transferred by bank telegraphic transfer as per bank details mentioned in the general information and credited into our account.

Note: Participants booked for Himalayan 100 Mile Stage Race (HSR) will

          run both the events (HSR/ECM).

 

Race Trip Package cost – HSR/ECM

 

Bagdogra Airport to Bagdogra Airport: USD 2499/GBP 1479/EURO 1841 Per Pax

October 16 – 23, 2011 (Sunday to Sunday): Eight Days / Seven Nights with two group airport transfers at Bagdogra airport (arrival on October 16 and departure on October 23, 2011) with following facilities:

– Accommodation on twin sharing basis

– Full meals as per menu mentioned in the Pre-Departure Information booklet

– Sightseeing of Darjeeling by Non A.C Coach with English Speaking guide   (including ride on Toy train on October 17 subject to its operation and availability).

– Group arrival transfer from Bagdogra airport on October 16 and Group departure transfer to Bagdogra airport on October 23 by non A.C Car / Coach with airport assistance.

– One T-Shirt & cap

 

Note: If any runner wishes to have single room accommodation during the course of event then an extra payment of USD 730 / GBP 432 / EURO 538 Per Pax should be paid. For single accommodation, advance reservation is required and rooms will be provided only subject to availability of rooms.

EXTRA COST:

 

DOMESTIC AIR TICKET FARE (DELHI / BAGDOGRA / DELHI):

As per present tariff, on Jet Airways and on Economic Class the cost for sector Delhi/Bagdogra/Delhi for October 16, 2011 (Delhi/Bagdogra) and for October 23, 2011 (Bagdogra/Delhi), the cost is USD 450 / GBP 300 / EURO 350 (Two Ways) Per Pax.

 

Note:

1. The airfare mentioned above is as per present tariff and if there is any increase later or during the time of journey, the difference has to be settled accordingly.

2. Discounted airfare (Non-Refundable / Refundable Check Fare) is also available on demand but there should not be any changes in your traveling dates.

 

EARLY ARRIVAL DAY AT CAMP HQ : (OPTIONAL)

NOTE:

1. For other extra services, i.e. hotel accommodation in Delhi on international arrival/departure, pre or post sightseeing extension trip or pre or post trekking trips etc. please do contact the Race Directorate and obtain information/itinerary and cost separately.

2. The cost calculated according to the present exchange rate of USD 1 = INR 45.00; GBP 1 = INR 71.50 and EURO 1 = INR 60.00. As the foreign currency rates are fluctuating regularly, if there is any variation in the exchange rates at the time of payment credited into our bank account, the difference of amount has to be paid by you as per the final invoice on your arrival in India.

 

The Package Cost given above do not include:

 

 

1.   Airport tax on international departure.

2.   Expenses of personal nature such as tips, alcohol, beverage, laundry etc.

3.   Company will not be responsible for any sort of unforeseen expenses incurred due to unavoidable circumstances i.e. flight / train or any other mode of transport cancellation / delay/ strikes / mechanical /war/ technical faults, natural calamities etc.

4.   Medical/accident insurance

5.   Medical / accident expenses

6.   Camera/Monument Fee, wildlife fee if any during race/cultural tour extension including Elephant safari at Jaipur etc.

7.   Any difference due to imposition of additional tax, by Govt., or hike in fuel cost etc.

8.   For disagreement / dispute of whatsoever nature relating to this trip, the courts in Delhi, India shall alone have jurisdiction.

9.   The company shall not be liable for any refund / compensation  / interruption, or other costs on trip cancellation due to war or undeclared acts of war, terrorist activities, revolution, change in government, strikes, act of God or natural disaster, accident, flight cancellation or Local Government’s default or commitments etc.

10. Any other expenses not included in the cost and services mentioned above.

11. Cancellation of trip will be made as per booking conditions.

 

PAYMENT

All payments should be credited into our bank account in India and with Standard Chartered Bank, Delhi through bank telegraphic transfer only. Please obtain bank details from the Race Directorate Office before you transfer the payment.

 

CANCELLATION OF TRIP:

Cancellation/refund and other trip conditions will be applicable as per conditions mentioned in the HSR/ECM booking form.
