Again and again, runners mix up the terms race pack and goodie bag. Haspa Marathon Hamburg race packs only contain the documents that are indispensable for the race and on which the runner is entitled by paying the organization fee. This year it contains the bib number, safety pins, runner information and coupons for additional purchased services such as finisher shirt, polo shirt, sweater, pasta party or medal engraving as well as for after race refreshments and free beer from our partner Krombacher.

Goodie bags on the other hand invariably contain additional free give-aways kindly provided from sponsors and partners which are not covered by the organization fee. This year it will contain in addition to the traditional sponge: pens and lanyards from our sponsor Möbel Kraft and vouchers from our sponsors and partners Möbel Kraft, Timex and Sigvaris, but also an Ultra-Sports Gel-Chip, Sebamed shower gel, various Nivea products and Compeed blister plasters.

The origin of the goody bags is that traditional advertising flyers are also contained.
