AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . . the 29th Ruskamarathon – the Fjord Norway Half Marathon – the Knarvikmila 10km – the Torshavn Marathon and the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon

On 1 September the 29th Ruskamarathon takes place in Kiitila, Finnnish lapland.

On 2 September the 4th edition of the Fjord Norway Half Marathon is held in Knarvik, along with the 30th edition of the Knarvikmila 10km in which Haile Gebreselassie guests. Westward from there the Torshavn Marathon is run in the Faroe Islands, while the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon takes place in Glasgow.

Across the Atlantic the Maraton de la Ciudad de Mexico celebrates its 30th edition, while the 22nd edition of the Medio Maraton Atlas is held in Mexico's second city of Guadalajara.

Rounding off the day's action the Kaua'i Marathon is run in the Hawaiian Islands.
