Don't wait to sign up for the Poland Spring Marathon Kickoff on

October 28. This 5-mile run in Central Park is the official start of Marathon Week

and it's a perfect race for marathoners and non-marathoners alike.

Marathon Day in NYC

You don't have to run 26.2 to experience Marathon Day and all the excitement that

comes with it. With more than 130 bands along the course on November 4, including

all types of music at entertainment zones in every borough, you'll have fun no matter

where you stand to cheer. Visit our cheer zones to get in the spirit with other marathon

super fans. You can bring your own signs and posters or use things like cheer sticks

and giveaways at these zones to motivate marathoners. Check out the interactive

spectator

map on our marathon site, coming soon.

Provide Your Perspective

Have you tried every gel, bean, and bar in the book? You're invited to join the

PowerBar Advisory Board, which will give you the chance to offer your opinions

on what products work best for you. Help the PowerBar team develop new products

for athletes by athletes—that's you! If selected, you may be asked to participate in

focus groups and taste tests to help guide the next generation of PowerBar products.

This is your chance to voice your opinion on what products can help you achieve your

goals.

Run for Those Who Can't

Register for the Race to Deliver and you'll be supporting God's Love We Deliver's mission

to provide nutritious meals to those living with serious illnesses in and around New York

City. This event on November 18 includes a 4-mile race and kids' races, so it's fit for the

whole family. When you register, you can make an extra donation to God's Love We

Deliver at the same time; just $10 will provide a meal for someone in need.

Ultra Central Park Experience

You've run the loop around Central Park, but have you conquered it nine times in a row? Now is your chance to register for the NYRR NYC 60K (formerly known as the Knickerbocker 60K) on Saturday, November 17, our only ultramarathon-distance race in 2012.

There's no better way to get ready for your Thanksgiving feast (and days of leftovers) than pounding the pavement for 37.2 miles.

Marathon Moments All Weekend

Marathon Week Begins

Don't wait to sign up for the Poland Spring Marathon Kickoff on October 28. This 5-mile run in Central Park is the official start of Marathon Week and it's a perfect race for marathoners and non-marathoners alike.

Join Greg T from Elvis Duran in the Morning, who'll be cheering runners to that famous finish line, and look out for giveaways from Poland Spring. If you're running the marathon, this event gives you the opportunity to loosen your legs. And if you're not, you don't have to hold back anything, go for broke!
