IAAF Press Commission meets in Monaco

Monte-Carlo – The IAAF Press Commission gathered for a full day meeting on Thursday (18) at the Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco, Port de Cap d'Ail, France, presided over by its Chairman Sebastian Coe, IAAF Vice President.

The meeting was also attended by IAAF Communications Director and Deputy General Secretary Nick Davies, while IAAF President Lamine Diack joined the meeting in the afternoon and addressed the Commission.

Following a welcome by the Chairman to the Commission, which was renewed in November 2011, a day of interesting discussions was held which as well as reviewing the IAAF Communication Department Reports and a debrief of the 2011 and 2012 seasons, covered wide ranging subjects including Image Rights, a future IAAF Photographers Award, Identical Athletes’ Kit etc….

In the evening a dinner was held in the main port of Fontvieille.
