AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . .The 12th Pharaonic 100km – the Malta Challenge Marathon – the Osaka Marathon, Mount Fuji Marathon – the Kobe Marathon and the Unicef Charity Half Marathon
The Antarctica Ice Marathon, at 80degS, is run on the White Continent on 20 November (weather permitting).
The 12th Pharaonic 100km is run in Egypt on 23 November from the Sakkara Pyramids to El Faioum. The Malta Challenge Marathon starts its three-day programme then as well with an 11.195km opening leg, with 6km and 25km stages on following days.
On 25 November there are no less than 14 AIMS events on four continents. The Osaka Marathon, Mount Fuji Marathon, and the Kobe Marathon are held in Japan, the Unicef Charity Half Marathon in Hong Kong, and the Jamba Cloud Hyderabad 10km in India.
The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Great Ethiopian Run takes place in Addis Ababa.
Other events span the length of the Mediterranean, from the Cyprus Aphrodite Half Marathon to the Firenze Marathon, also the Serge Vigot La Rochelle Int'l Marathon and the Marathon Donostia – San Sebastian taking place to the north of the Pyrenees on Atlantic shores.
The Quito21k Mitad del Mundo is held in Ecuador. In North America the 21K Nuevo Leon and the Puebla Marathon are run in Mexico, and the Amica Insurance Seattle Marathon takes place on the west coast of the USA.
