Athletics Australia – News – Nominations for Positions on Athletics Australia General Committees

In accordance with the Athletics Australia By-Laws, the Athletics Australia Board appoints General Committees.

The committees of Athletics Australia that will operate in the 2013-2016 quadrennial are:
·      Coaching Advisory Committee
·      Facilities and Equipment Committee
·      Officials Advisory Committee
·      Track and Field Advisory Committee
·      International Tours Advisory Committee
·      Distance Running and Walking Advisory Committee

The three committees named below have been filled:
·      Coaching Advisory Committee
·      Officials Advisory Committee
·      Distance Running and Walking Advisory Committee

And applications are hereby called for from persons with the requisite experience, enthusiasm and commitment to be considered by the Athletics Australia Board for appointment.
·      Facilities and Equipment Committee
·      Track and Field Advisory Committee
·      International Tours Advisory Committee

The Athletics Australia Board of Directors determines the composition of the Selection Committee and Special Awards Committee. Athletes determine the composition of the Athletes Commission.

Athletics Australia wishes to receive expressions of interest from persons wishing to be considered for appointment to the remaining Committees. Applications, on the attached form, setting out the relevant background, experience and involvement in athletics of the applicant should be forwarded, marked CONFIDENTIAL to:
