On 5 May the Genève Marathon for Unicef takes place in Switzerland, the Salzburg Marathon in Austria, the Maratona d'Europa in Italy, the BIG 25 Berlin in Germany.

The Steinmetz Gaborone Marathon is run in Botswana.

The BMO Vancouver International Marathon and the Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon are run in Canada.

On 6 May the Deep Riverrock Belfast City Marathon and Milton Keynes Marathon are run in the U.K.
