RUNNING GERMANY: AIMS welcomes the TUI Marathon Hannover as a new member

The TUI Marathon Hannover is the newest member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS)

Just in time for the 25th Anniversary in the spring of 2015, the TUI Marathon Hannover is accepted as full member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).

Right now the network exists of 350 events from 98 countries worldwide.

“It’s yet another award for the TUI Marathon, to be accepted among this exclusive circle”, said Stefanie Eichel of organizers eichels: Event: “For us, it means a bigger international attention by far and being part of a stronger network to further enhance the event.”

The next TUI Marathon Hannover takes place on April, 27th, 2014.

In the meantime 11 running events from Germany are member of AIMS:  25km Berlin, Berlin-Marathon, Berlin-Halfmarathon, Cologne Marathon, Duesseldorf Marathon,  Frankfurt Marathon, Hamburg Marathon, Munich Marathon, Muenster Marathon, Wuerzburg Marathon and now Hannover Marathon.
