RUNNING GERMANY: Nuremberg/Bavaria – The Seenlandmarathon on September, 14th/15th 2013.

Exceptional features of the SEENLANDMARATHON are its appealing course and the unique atmosphere not only during the run but also beforehand and afterwards. During  running participants enjoy the great landscape at the lake. The bank path is the perfect ground for easy jogging. Additional to the inherent natural beauty of the lake, there is the pretty forest and the lush grass all around to admire.

Not least all around the course spectators gather to cheer the runners. Boredom or tiredness are out of question. Before and after the run a huge party is taking place. On the event area there’s a large tent where you can get traditional Bavarian food and of course Bavarian beer. There will also be music and shows to entertain you.

We offer every participant a wide range of opportunities to take part in our run. Adults can run the marathon distance (42,1 km), but there are several alternatives. You can also choose the half marathon (21 km), the nordic walking course (21 km), the hobby run (4,5 km) or start as a marathon-relay with your friends. From the age of 16 you can join the half marathon distance and from the age of 18 the full distance. As we want to offer everyone the chance of running, we also offer various distances for kids. They can race 4,5 km, 1,5 km or 300 meters.

Running is not only for individuals, therefore we offer a team-run in which you can participate with your friends or colleaugues. A relay can be two to six runners that finish the marathon-distance together.

As you see, not only trained runners can enjoy the fantastic landscape around the „Brombachsea“. Everyone can take part in the SEENLANDMARATHON with its familial atmosphere and great location outside large cities amidst wonderful scenery.

Application for the SEENLANDMARATHON is really easy. Either you register yourself via internet on our homepage (www.seenlandmarathon.de) or you download the application form and send it back to us via mail.

The registration is valid once you have paid the contribution for organisation. The prices are merely low.
