AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . . the Jungfrau Marathon – the DN Stockholm Half Marathon – the Moscow Marathon and the Wroclaw Marathon.

On 14 September the Jungfrau Marathon is run in the Swiss Alps, climbing to a height of 2100m. The DN Stockholm Half Marathon is held the same day in the Swedish capital.

On 15 September the Moscow Marathon debuts under new organisation. Elsewhere in Europe there are marathons in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, the Polish city of Wroclaw and along the banks of the Danube at Wachau in Austria.

There are half marathons in Usti nad Ladem (Czech Republic) and Oporto in northern Portugal
