Congratulations to Marty Dent who had a great run in the marathon at the recent World Champs in Moscow. Marty had an amazing second half to run through from a mid-40s position to finish 23rd on a very hot and humid day.

Marty will now concentrate on the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Lots to report this week!

Congratulations to Marty Dent who had a great run in the marathon at the recent World Champs in Moscow. Marty had an amazing second half to run through from a mid-40s position to finish 23rd on a very hot and humid day. Marty will now concentrate on the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

The inaugural Da Nang International Marathon welcomed runners from 26 countries and it was great to see local Viet runners claim line honours in both the marathon and half marathon, a great boost for the local running culture. Congratulations also must go to John Wallace for completing a marathon in his 117th country…. a mighty effort!

We have had many enquiries about the Yangon International Marathon and we can confirm the date is now set for 19 January 2014.
