Xiamen International Marathon/CHINA – The 2014 edition will be on Jan.2nd, 2014, Thursday.

General information:
Since 2003, Xiamen International Marathon has been held annually for eleven consecutive years. It is deemed as IAAF Gold Label Road Race for consecutively six years. Every January, the first medal of marathon race around the world is awarded here. The race has become a golden name card, showing its splendor to the whole world.

Date: The first Saturday of every January. The 2014 edition will be on Jan.2nd, 2014, Thursday.

Event: 
Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.0975km), 10KM Run and 5KM Run. Our package races are: Cross- Strait Invitational Marathon Tournament, Wheelchair Half Marathon, and also Roller Skating 10KM Race. For more info, please refer to the Regulations respectively.

Entry methods: (mainly three)
Online entry, site entry, through travel agencies.

Entry fees: 
Domestic (Hong Kong, Maucau inculded): 80RMB per one for full marathon, 50 RMB for other events.
Students among group(30 or above): 40 RMB per one
Abroad: 30USD per one (about 183 rmb)for full marathon, 20UDS per one for other events.

Course: Xiamen International Marathon course is rewarded as one of the most beautiful courses in the world.

1.     Marathon: Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center (The Strat) →Huandao Road → Minzu Road → Zhongshan Road →North Siming Road → South Hubin Road → Mid Hubin Road → North Hubin Road → Dongdu Road → West Hubin Road → Lujiang Road → Yanwu Bridge → Huandao Road → Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center(The Finish) 
 

2.     Half Marathon: 
Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center(The Strat)→ Huandao Road → Minzu Road → Zhongshan Road →North Siming Road→ South Hubin Road → Mid Hubin Road → East section of North Hubin Road (Qixing Road) (The Finish) 
 

3.     Wheelchair Half marathon: 
Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center(The Start)→ Huandao Road → Yanwu Bridge →Zhongshan Road →North Siming Road→ South Hubin Road →Mid Hubin Road → East section of North Hubin Road(Qixing Road) (The Finish) 
 

4.     Roller skating 10km: 
Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center(The Start)→ Huandao Road →the Shufa Square of Zengcuoan (The Finish) 
 

5.     10km Run: 
Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center(The Strat) → Huandao Road → West Zengcuoan Road (Intersection of Xiamen Software District) (The Finish) 
 

6.     5km Run: 
Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center (The Start) → Huandao Road → South Yunding Road (Intersection of Huandao Road) (The Finish)

Live Broadcast: 
This is a race attracting the attention of world media. More than 40 domestic and overseas media including CCTV give live aerial broadcast through the whole course. Many foreign media also focus on this event. Xiamen International Marathon has an audience of several billions, 70% of the world people have access to the live broadcast of this event.
