AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . . the Gammon China Coast Marathon and the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon and the Santa Pola Half Marathon

On 17 January the Egyptian Marathon was run in Luxor, passing by the entrance to the Valley of the Kings.

On 19 January the Gammon China Coast Marathon is held in the New Territories of Hong Kong, and the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon in India's biggest and busiest city.

The Santa Pola Half Marathon, in south-east Spain, is the only event to be held in Europe before AIMS action jumps first to the American side of the Atlantic for the Marathon Bahamas, Half Marathon and Relay, and then to the Pacific Ocean for the Maui Oceanfront Marathon and Half.

On 20 January the Corrida de Sao Sebastiao 10km is run in Rio de Janeiro.
