CORRIDA DE SAO SEBASTIAO CAIXA, BRAZIL – 20 JANUARY 2014:
In Brazil many people say that the year only begins after Carnival, but this is not so for fans of road racing.
Each 20th January thousands of runners (this year 5000) take to the streets of Aterro do Flamengo to celebrate St. Sebastian's day – who is the patron saint of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Before the event Rio's archbishop, Dom Orani Tempesta, blessed all the participants and the attending authorities.
