AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . . the Tokyo Marathon – the Taipei Standard Chartered Charity Marathon – the Seychelles Eco-Marathon – the Maritzburg Marathon and the Maraton de Sevilla

On 23 February the Tokyo Marathon is run in Japan and the Taipei Standard Chartered Charity Marathon in Chinese Taipei.

The Seychelles Eco-Marathon is held in the Indian Ocean state and the Maritzburg Marathon in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, while the only European AIMS event is the Maraton de Sevilla in Spain.

Over in the Americas the World's Best 10km takes place in San Juan Puerto Rico, the Medio Maraton Guadalajara in Mexico's second city.

The Sahara Marathon is run between the Sahrawi refugee camps near Tindouf, Algeria on 24 February

The CAF-Caracas Maraton in the Venezuelan capital has been postponed.
