KOSICE MARATHON – 90 YEARS IN STORIES AND FACTS – Europe’s oldest Marathon on october 5th 2014

On the occasion of the jubilee brand new Slovak-English book is being prepared by composite authors.

The publication brings many views and so-far unpublished facts from the past as well as from modern era of Košice Marathon.

How Leonard Edelen struggled in his life, how many times the course and the name of the marathon have been changed, who has been the oldest  marathon debutant ever, when Košice led the world charts, when the city was dying of curiosity, how the last course record  was born, who is in the lead of the loyalty charts?

This is just a fragment of themes, stories and statistics which will come to readers through the desks of book stores as early as by the end of September.
