90 Years of the Košice Marathon on october 5th, 2014 – Hansjörg Wirz guest of Košice Peace Marathon 2014

President of European Athletics Hansjörg Wirz from Switzerland is coming to Košice as one of the guests of honour who will enjoy the jubilee marathon in the city.

 

He is in his fourth term as a President of EA following his election in 1999. Furthermore he is IAAF Council member and five times has led the Swiss Olympic delegation.

Wirz sport career is connected mostly with 400m hurdles, he became national champion several times, he was a holder of Swiss record and has been nominated many times for international championships including Munich Olympic Games.
