24th Half Marathon PHILIPS Piła/POL on Sunday, September 7th 2014

A record number of 2856 runners finished 24th PHILIPS Half Marathon Pila that take place on Sunday, September 7th. The weather conditions were tough because of the strong sunlight at all race time.

Daniel Muindi Muteti from Kenya dominated the race and reach the finish line in 01:02:11 setting the new course record. 

Many spectators gathered in the finish area had to wait more than 2 minutes for Muteti’s fellow mate John Mutai.

Half Marathon in Pila was organized as the Men & Women Half Marathon Polish Championships.

Adam Nowicki and Sylwia Ejdys-Tomaszewska won their titles for the first time.
