UNDER ARMOUR is the new “Official Running Partner” of the Honolulu Marathon.

UNDER ARMOUR will provide the finisher shirts and the official merchandise, which will be on sale at the Honolulu Marathon Expo during race week and in the finisher village in Kapiolani Park on race day, December 14, 2014 and the day after the marathon.

Under Armour’s highly functional running shoes will also be available along with the official race merchandise.

UNDER ARMOUR was established in the US in 1996 and is a “performance athletic brand” with a mission to “evolve athletes.” Having entered the running footwear market in 2011, UNDER ARMOUR had a brand mission “To Make All Athletes Better” and developed and sold shoes and apparel, which brought out the maximum performance of runners.

With UNDER ARMOUR as a new sponsor, the Honolulu Marathon aims to further flourish as a world class marathon. With its 42^ndanniversary this year, the Honolulu Marathon is one of the world’s largest marathons and anyone from beginners to top runners can participate.

Uniquely, the Honolulu Marathon does not have a cap on entrants and more than 36,000 participants have registered to take part in December 2014.
