RUNNING GERMANY: BERLIN – 100 Miles BERLIN – The Wall Race on 15th August – 4-person relays fully booked – the „Weight Watchers“ are No. 25
It took only a few days till the last one of the 25 starting positions for the 4-person relays at the Wall Race 2015 had been taken. Last to register for this competition on the Wall Trail were the “Weight Watchers” from Herford in North Rhine-Westfalia.
By this a new record was set, since during its even short history, the Berlin 100 miles race has never been fully booked in any competition. And even within such a short time!
However, whoever wants to participate with a relay team in August can still choose between the two other team competitions. There is some polite restraint exercised among the 2-person relays with only 3 registered teams by now, but that is no great surprise considering the large distances of 71 and 90 kilometers.
Real ultra running skills are demanded here! If this “double” is out of your league, go for the 10Plus relay! Every team can send 10 to 28 runners on the Wall Trail. Changeover points are – in contrast to the other competitions – flexible.
