RUNNING GERMANY: BERLIN – 100 Miles Berlin – The Wall race on august 13, 2016 : Strong demand for 2016 – Ursula Hotz and Marc Cornelius Jaenicke join again
For 2016, already a lot of runners registered. A little less than two weeks after registration started, more than 140 solo runners enrolled. Also the relay competition teams started enrolling, especially 2- and 4-person relay teams.
Swiss runner Ursula Hotz from SSC Langnau/Belvoir Ruderclub Zurich, who finished second this year in the solo runner competition will start again in 2016.
This year she arrived at the finish line after 19:29 hours. She was only beaten by Patricia Rolle from Berlin, who set a new track record of 15:57 hours.
Our local hero Marc Cornelius Jaenicke is on the participants list as well. This year he reached the finish line after 15:35 hours and missed the second place by less than a minute.
Registration for the Berlin Wall Race on 13/14 August 2016 will be open until 1 July, unless the competition is already fully booked before.
