RUNNING GERMANY: BERLIN – 6. 100 Miles Berlin – The Wall race on august 12/13, 2017 – Registration for the Berlin Wall Race 2017 will start on 9 November

It was the most frequent question of the last days: When will registration start for the Berlin Wall Race 2017? Now the question can be answered! On 9 November the online portal will be opened for registration to the sixth edition of the Berlin Wall Race.

This date was not chosen without a reason. It was on 9 November 1989 when the border crossings in Berlin were opened and thousands of GDR citizens had the chance to visit the western part of Berlin, enthusiastically welcomed by their neighbours.

The Berlin Wall Race, which commemorates the Wall and its victims, will take place on 12/13 August 2017.

As in 2016, it will be exactely on the the day we commemorate the erection of the wall 56 years ago (13 August 1961). Start and finish area will be at the Jahn Sportpark. Next year, the course will be run counterclockwise.

The number of participants is limited to 350 solo starters. Of course, there will be also 2-person, 4-person and 10+ relay teams.
