Patron is the former GDR civil rights activist Rainer Eppelmann.
In 2017 the sixth edition will be carried out on 12/13 August. This time the course is run counterclockwise. For solo runners 350 starting places are available, furthermore 2-person, 4-person and 10plus relays can participate.
Registration will be opened on 9 November.
