Tokyo Marathon 2017 – Informations for Runners

By GRR 0

The race day of Tokyo Marathon 2017, Sunday, February 26th, is approaching and we start putting up the race posters and road closure maps.

On the race day, vehicular traffic will not be permitted on or in the vicinity of the course for a prolonged period of time. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Design concept of the race poster visual

Many people including runners, volunteers, people cheering on from sidelines, etc. will gather in Tokyo for the Tokyo Marathon, with various reasons and goals in their mind. They make "The Day We Unite."

This design symbolizes the concept, "Tokyo Marathon is made of people." Each person, who has unique and various characteristics, will gather, come across each other, and be united. It illustrates how various people come together on the new course and make a new 42.195-km Tokyo Marathon journey.

We put up this poster at stations and related facilities and hope you could have a look at them.
