ICSSPE Honorary President Prof. Dr. Gudrun Doll-Tepper was awarded honorary membership by the DOSB during its 21st General Assembly held in Saarbrücken, Germany, on December 7, 2024.

This recognizes her unparalleled contributions to sports, physical education, and her enduring leadership within ICSSPE and other global organisations.

Prof. Doll-Tepper’s work has significantly shaped both national and international policies and practices, leaving a lasting impact on sports and education. ICSSPE congratulates her on this well-deserved recognition and celebrates her inspiring legacy.

The DOSB General Assembly also addressed several critical issues shaping the future of sports in Germany: Safe Sport Code Implementation across DOSB organisations, Germany Olympic and Paralympic bid, and a record membership growth in sports club all over Germany.

ICSSPE is happy to see the German Sports Confederation take decisive steps towards a safer, more inclusive, and globally engaged sporting landscape. These advancements align with ICSSPE’s mission to foster collaboration and innovation in sports and physical education worldwide.
