Christa Vahlensieck: Five-time winner of the Kosice Peace Marathon – 70th birthday on 27 May 2019.

The organizers and fans of the marathon in Košice send a big congratulations five-time winner of the KPM Christa Vahlensieck of Germany.

Her series of victories in the 1980s will likely never be matched.

This pioneer of women’s running, once the world record holder in the marathon and at 10,000 m and an initiator of the partnership between Košice and Wuppertal, celebrates her 70th birthday on 27 May 2019.
