SPEAKERS CONFIRMED FOR 22ND AIMS WORLD CONGRESS at the 22nd World Congress of AIMS to be held in Tallinn
The Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) is delighted to announce the speakers at the 22nd World Congress of AIMS to be held in Tallinn, Estonia between the 6-9 September 2018.
Andrew Horsewood, a Senior Analyst at Sportcal, a world-leading provider of sports market intelligence will speak to the Congress on ‘Evaluating the value of hosting sporting events’.

Stacey Conley, former President of Conley Sports Productions will give a presentation on the subject of ‘Making the Most of Marketing: Increasing Women’s Participation in Running Events’. Stacey has worked as the Associate Race Director of the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon since 2002.

George Kazantzopoulos, International Sustainability Expert & President of Institute Team for the World will address the Congress on ‘Greening the Running movement’. Mr Kazantzopoulos collaborated with AIMS to create the AIMS Green Award and a set of environmental guidelines, in line with the IOC Olympic Movement’s Agenda 21.

Michael Nishi, General Manager of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Events will speak on the subject of ‘Safety-Security: Best Practices’.

Chris Troyanos, Medical Co-ordinator for the Boston Marathon & Executive Director for IIRM (International Institute for Race Medicine) will discuss Endurance Medicine Outcomes and Global Weather Changes “A tale of two heat stokes”.

The 22nd World Congress of AIMS is being held in the city of Tallinn, Estonia at the Original Sokos Hotel Viru Tallinn between September 6 – 9. The weekend will end with the running of the 2018 Tallinn Marathon & Half Marathon.
