Chicago (May 10, 2011) – CBS RADIO's WSCR-AM 670 The Score will once again serve as the flagship radio station for the 2011 Bank of America Chicago Marathon continuing a tradition that was started in 2006. 670 The Score will feature four hours of live race day coverage, from 7 to 11 a.m. on-air and online at www.670thescore.com, for the 34th annual event on Sunday, October 9, 2011. In addition, two one-hour preview shows will broadcast on the No. 1-rated sports station in Chicago leading up to Marathon weekend (time and date TBD).

Live race day broadcast of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon will include expert analysis of the men's and women's elite athlete races and curbside reporting by Score talent. In the weeks leading up to the Marathon, two preview shows will be co-hosted by Executive Race Director Carey Pinkowski and will help Marathon participants and fans stay informed on breaking news and information about the event and will feature elite athlete interviews, training tips from industry professionals and in-depth discussion regarding the sport of distance running.
