Rikuren, the Japanese athletics federation, announced on Mar. 14 that its decision on the final lineup for the men's and women's marathon teams for this summer's World Championships in Daegu, Korea, will be postponed.
The naming of the team was scheduled to take place during Rikuren's general and committee meetings on Mar. 15, but due to the major earthquake in northeastern Japan it was not possible for the meetings to be held.
