Title Sponsor Announced for New York State Health and Wellness Expo – Expo will be held prior to the inaugural Empire State Marathon and Half-Marathon

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Achieve Fitness, LLC announced an agreement with Burdick Driver's Village to serve as the title sponsor of the New York State Health and Wellness Expo on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 15-16, 2011.

Held prior to the inaugural Empire State Marathon and Half-Marathon, the New York State Health and Wellness Expo will feature about 40-50 vendors from the running and fitness industries. The expo will also serve as the location for packet pick-up and the pre-race pasta dinner by Carnegie Catering on Saturday, Oct 15.

Employees are encouraged to participate in activities such as company-sponsored weight loss contests and smoking cessation programs. Any employee enrolling in his or her first athletic competition or fundraiser such as a 5K, marathon or cycling event can be reimbursed by Driver's Village for the amount of the registration fee. Additionally, events like the New York State Health and Wellness Expo Event are especially welcomed in the spacious common areas of the auto mall. The New York State Health and Wellness Expo Event will feature educational seminars by area experts about running, training, injury prevention, nutrition, and other health and fitness topics. Additional entertainment options will be available for attendees, as will information about the race.

The Driver's Village New York State Health and Wellness Expo will be held at 5885 E. Circle Drive, Cicero, NY 13039. Entry is free and open to the public.
