The real,- BERLIN-MARATHON close entries on Monday

The real,- BERLIN MARATHON, to be held on 25 September, will close entries several weeks before the official registration deadline due to strong demand. Those who would still like to register have until midnight on Monday 17 July to do so at the website: www.berlin-marathon.com.

Gete Wami (ETH) is the third big-name athlete to sign up for the real,- Berlin Marathon, after Haile Gebrselassie and last year’s winner and Olympic Champion Mizuko Noguchi. The former World 10000m and Cross-Country champion debuted at the Amsterdam Marathon in 2002 with what remains her personal best of 2:22:20.

„Gete Wami is a great opponent for Mizuki Noguchi“, said race director Mark Milde. „It will be an exciting race“.
