Kallur, Wissman and Green to lead the Swedish team to Glasgow

European 100m Hurdles Champion Susanna Kallur, 400m sensation Johan Wissman and former World Championship High Jump medallist Emma Green lead a strong Swedish team for this weekend's Indoor International in Glasgow.

Kallur, who will open her season at the event in Glasgow, finished 2007 on a very strong note, after narrowly missing out on a medal at the IAAF World Championships in Osaka.

In 2007, she won the 60m/60m Hurdles in Glasgow and will be looking for some more of the same on Saturday.

Glasgow will also be the opening event of the 2008 season for Wissman who took the 400m by storm in 2007, breaking his own Swedish record on a number of occasions, finishing the season with a 44.56 best.

Previously a 200m specialist, he won a bronze medal at the European Athletics Championships in Goteborg in 2006 and will be looking to show some speed before his goal of a medal at the World Indoors in Valencia in March.

23-year-old Green will be looking to show that Sweden still has some of the world top high jumpers after the retirement of her team mate and great rival Kajsa Bergqvist and will be looking towards her indoor best of 1.96m, set two years ago in Slovakia.
