Hope and Future for Japan – Buy this special poster of the VCM and help the people in Japan with a donation of 10 Euros!

The dreadful earthquake and tsunami of March 11 in Japan led to a catastrophe which will have an impact on the lives of many for a long time. Please help the Japanese people. A donation of 10 Euros will help to give people, who are at present suffering so much, hope for the future. Your contribution will go directly to the Red Cross in Japan.

After making your donation you can [download this poster] in the VCM Online Shop in high resolution and print it in various sizes including A3.

The poster will be available in print at the [Vienna Sports World] on April 15 and 16, and at the [International Friendship Party] on April 16 as well as at the VCM souvenir booth at the finish of the marathon on Heldenplatz on race day.

The poster shows two young Japanese runners, Tomo Morimoto and Chieko Yamasaki, who finished first and second in the 2006 Vienna City Marathon – both are safe and unharmed.

It is taken from a photo by the American photographer Victah Sailer and painted by the artist M. Klapper.
